Annual Dance Concert

Bluerhythmix holds an annual dance concert at the Highfields Cultural Centre, and students are invited to dance in their enrolled classes.

Each class participates in two dances per dance style in the concert, which requires one costume per dance style. Music and costumes are chosen carefully by our teachers to encourage a wholesome attitude towards dance. The end of year concert is the highlight of our dance calendar.

Examinations

Students are invited to participate in Southern Federation of Dance examinations where an external examiner from Melbourne or Brisbane examines our students on the syllabus they have learnt in class.

We also offer internal examinations with an internal studio examiner, often for our younger students. For internal examinations, the teacher is present, and this helps to reduce the stress of the examination process.

"We love that you have a school where the focus is on dancing for enjoyment and your concerts are a joy to see!"
